The Marine and Environmental Consultation Bureau is one of the specialized offices at the University of Basrah, where it was established in 1993. It efforts with every effort to provide scientific, technical, and training services and consultations to government institutions, the private sector, and post-graduate students by preparing environmental impact studies for projects related to the institutions and establishments of the Government and private companies, as well as collecting samples for water and soil and conducting tests in specialized laboratories equipped with the latest scientific devices.
