Brief of the Bureau

The Marine and Environmental Consulting Bureau at the Marine Science Center is one of the distinguished scientific offices at the University of  Basrah,  it was established in mid-June -1993 and “in accordance with Instructions No. (60), 1993 within the Marine Science Center at the University of Basrah.

The Bureau

concluded many advisory and executive contracts for projects with privacy for environmental works, and many advisory projects were completed for the benefit of Arab and foreign companies and private sector companies working for benefit of country institutions. In the context of its support for the Marine Science Center and the University, and in accordance with the Act of Scientific and Consulting Services Offices No. 7, of 1997 and in accordance with the current instructions in this field, therefore, the Bureau contributed financially to the budget of the Higher Education Fund in the Center, through which incentives are distributed to the affiliates and contribute to the maintenance work and other topics which available through it, as well as its support of the students accommodations at the University of Basrah by (10%) of the total revenues of its projects as contribution with the presidency of the   University in order to provide the best services for students residing in the special student accommodations of our great university.
